COMMON QUERIES

HOW LONG DOES A WALKING TOUR LAST?

Our guides love to talk. They are passionate and informed and have great knowledge and love for this city. Tours are scheduled to last around two hours, but depending on how quickly you walk and how much they talk, it may run a little over or under that!

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

Due to current COVID restrictions, we are trying to keep numbers under control to avoid overcrowding and to minimise the risk to our guests. Therefore, we ask that you book and pay online in advance so our guides don’t have to handle cash or extra numbers on the tour!

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

You can cancel for free any time up until a week before your tour, after that we can not refund you if you miss your tour, but we can offer you a reschedule.

WHAT DO YOU DO IF IT’S RAINING?

We get wet! Look, Glasgow isn’t famed for having the sun splitting the sky and we know you’re not here to enjoy the weather, so please dress accordingly. Wear some good shoes, cause you’ll be walking, bring a jacket and prepare to be a bit chilly billy baltic. There’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes!
Tours will rarely be cancelled due to weather, but in the event of some truly biblical storms, we’ll let you know in plenty of time. But if it’s just a drizzle and a gust of wind, we’ll be there with jackets on ready to roll!

DO HAVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OTHER THINGS TO DO IN GLASGOW?

Absolutely. Throughout your tour, you guide will point out and recommend places to go in Glasgow. As well as all of the classic Glasgow tourist activities, we know all of Glasgow’s secret spots and will take you off the beaten track to make your time here unforgettable.

ARE THE WALKING TOURS FAMILY FRIENDLY?

Absolutely, yes! We would recommend not bringing anyone who's very wee, as there is a fair bit of walking and standing about involved. Please make sure that any small humans are going to be okay with this before booking.

DO WE HAVE TO WALK REALLY, REALLY FAR?

Glasgow city centre isn't a sprawling metropolis, so luckily everything is within strolling distance. We'll take a meander and a stroll and if you find you have tired feet at the end, speak to your guide and they'll point you in the direction of the nearest pub to perk you up!
